At Hilltop Retreat, certain household and hospitality products may be provided in smaller guest-use quantities, refill containers, decorative dispensers, or unlabeled organizers for convenience and sustainability purposes. Original manufacturer packaging may not always be present in guest-facing areas.


We know how important it can be to know what you're using, hence, this guide is intended to provide important product information, ingredient references, safety guidance, and general disclaimers regarding products available throughout the property, particularly those outside of it's original, labelled packaging.


Guests with allergies, sensitivities, respiratory concerns, skin conditions, chemical sensitivities, or young children should review this information carefully before use.


Amenities Notice

  • Certain amenities, consumables, and toiletries provided at Hilltop Retreat are based on standard provisioning per booking and may vary depending on stay length, group size, and property setup.

  • Amenities are prepared in advance of arrival and are intended for reasonable use during the confirmed booking period. They are not adjusted in real-time based on changes in guest count or usage during a stay.

  • We are unable to modify or replenish consumable items during a stay, and availability of specific items should be understood as part of the standard booking provision, not guaranteed on a per-person or per-use basis.

  • Guests are responsible for ensuring their party size matches their confirmed reservation. Amenities and supplies are not scaled to unregistered or unexpected occupancy.


Important General Safety Notice

  • Use all hospitality products only as intended for it's purpose.

  • Keep cleaning products, pods, soaps, oils, and detergents away from children and pets.

  • Do not ingest any hospitality products.

  • Avoid contact with eyes unless product instructions or guidelines explicitly permit it. Soap is not makeup remover.

  • Discontinue use of hospitality products immediately if irritation occurs.

  • Guests are responsible for determining whether hospitality products are suitable for their personal needs, allergies, or sensitivities.

Bathrooms

Certain guest toiletries may be individually wrapped, imported, handmade, boutique, or supplied by third-party manufacturers. While we aim to source quality products, complete manufacturer ingredient lists may not always be available on individual packaging.

Guests with known allergies or sensitivities should avoid use unless comfortable doing so.

Body Soap

WARNING: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Avoid getting into eyes. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of pets. Children should be supervised. Avoid contact with sensitive areas and open wounds.


INGREDIENTS: sodium palmitate, water, fragrance, glycerin, sodium palmitate, titanium dioxide, sodium chloride, tetrasodium hydroxyethyl phosphate


These soaps are individually packaged and sourced through a commercial supplier.

Hand Soap

WARNING: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Avoid getting into eyes. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of pets. Children should be supervised.

We do not provide laundry essentials outside of Hilltop Shop. All of these products are not necessarily used at once, or at all, rather what is in usual rotation should it be needed. For specific traceability, please contact us via email.

We cannot guarantee that any product on-site is:

  • hypoallergenic

  • fragrance-free

  • dye-free

  • nut-free

  • allergen-free

  • chemical-free


Limitation of Responsibility

By using products provided at the property, guests acknowledge that:

  • products are used voluntarily and at their own discretion;

  • minor variations in packaging, dispensing, or presentation may occur;

  • hosts are not manufacturers of third-party products supplied on-site.

If a guest experiences a medical emergency, allergic reaction, or accidental ingestion, contact emergency services immediately.

As a retreat-style property located in a rural/nature-connected setting, guests may notice environmental systems and operational practices designed to support responsible property management.

Guests are encouraged to:

  • conserve water when possible

  • refrain from flushing non-flushable items

  • use provided amenities responsibly

  • and follow posted property guidance

This helps us maintain the property safely and sustainably for all guests.
